Mission Statement
The mission of the PPMS system is to provide performance management for 2nd year MA students completing their OBM and Autism poster projects. The timely use of the information provided by the system will improve the quality, timeliness, and usefulness of the projects being created by the students.
Ultimate Goal
The goal of this system is to improve the quality of work that is being produced by masters’ students for their OBM/Autism projects. In the past, the overall quality, timeliness, and significance of their work were at an unacceptable level. The reasons varied, but the idea found to be the most likely root was the lack of performance management, thus this system’s second goal is to provide that management. This system is ultimately designed to enhance the goal of BATS: to produce quality behavior analysis students and giving them to tools to do quality work.
What PPMS is doing
PPMS is currently finishing the design of the system and has started to provide performance management to the second year grad students completing OBM and Autism research projects. We are currently developing a more thorough curriculum, and have begun providing project performance management for 2009 BATS cohort.
