Hey Dr. Malott~
I hope you and BATS are doing well. I am currently working as a supervisor at Advance Kids in Sacramento, California; the company is strictly ABA based and has a number of BCBA's on staff; I am sending you this in hopes that you will forward this on to upcoming graduates of BATS (summer or December). The in-home department (of which I currently supervise) is looking to take on a few new consultants this coming fall-winter. This would be an excellent opportunity for students coming out of BATS to start out in the field. If anyone is graduating this or next year and is looking for an exciting opportunity to move across the country and get started in the field, I would be more than happy to set up a phone interview with myself and my director. Again, I hope you are doing well and I look forward in hearing from you! :)

Dr. Malott,
I thought I'd pass on the word that my place of employment, Wayman Learning Center in Plano, TX (a suburb of Dallas) is currently looking to fill the position of an instructor. Instructors are generally full-time (although we do have one part-time instructor) and have earned at least a bachelor's degree. Each full-time instructor is in charge of the curriculum and instructional decisions for 3-4 students.
Our center has a heavy emphasis on Skinner's analysis of verbal behavior, and we base our practice heavily on the work of Mark Sundberg and Vince Carbone. We are located about half an hour's drive from the University of North Texas, which has an ABA accredited graduate program in Behavior Analysis. Several of our instructors are also enrolled at courses at UNT.
I know you have a fresh batch of students graduating in April. Anyone interested in employment can contact the Director of Wayman Learning Center, Gail Wayman, M.Ed., BCBA, by emailing her at gail@wlctx.com. We also have a website they can check out: www.wlctx.com.
I hope to see you at ABA!

My name is Dr. Moshe Shtuhl, I am a psychologist and the director
of Family Compass, a private child psychology practice in Reston Virginia.
We are currently providing intensive interventions for young children
with autism and other developmental difficulties. Dr. Sharon Major,
a BCBA, is on our staff. We use a variety of modalities to address
the children's neuropsychological and developmental needs; including
verbal-behavior, elements of ABA, emotionally-based interactions ("floor
time"), other structured language curriculums, some elements of
pediatric occupational therapy, etc.
Unfortunately, Dr. Major is leaving our practice in June and we are
looking for a person with strong behavioral background, who is interested
in the integration of approaches to best customize intervention to
each child's needs. I believe that the work here is quite rewarding
with significant opportunity for personal and professional growth.
I would greatly appreciate your guidance in regard
